Debbie Brown (1991-2010): Brown is the winningest coach in Notre Dame volleyball history, leading the team to a record of 525-202 in her 20 seasons as head coach. During her tenure, the team made 18 NCAA Tournament appearances, won 14 conference titles, and advanced to the final four twice.
Jim McLaughlin (2011-2014): McLaughlin coached the Irish for four seasons, finishing with a record of 45-68. He previously had a successful tenure at Washington, where he won a national championship and earned three Pac-12 Coach of the Year awards.
Michaela Franklin (2015-2018): Franklin took over as head coach in 2015 and led the Irish to a record of 63-58 over four seasons. She left Notre Dame to become the head coach at Virginia Tech.
Mike Johnson (2019-present): Johnson was named head coach in 2019 after serving as an assistant coach at Notre Dame for six seasons. He has a strong background in volleyball, having previously coached at the collegiate, high school, and club levels. So far, his record as head coach at Notre Dame is 22-25.
